We suggest you read these instructions before viewing the images.

To get started

1. Move the mouse over Works for pull down menu.
2. Click the image category desired. This opens the small screen mode.
3. Click once only on the central arrow pointing right, to begin the slide show. (Never click on the center of the image in small format, see warning below)

To use full screen mode (and see painting information)

(NB To exit full screen mode, press escape on your keyboard. This returns you to small screen mode)

1. Move the mouse over the image, waking action symbols at bottom and sides.
2. To enter Full Screen mode, click on the rectangle in the bottom right hand corner (showing arrows pointing outwards).
3. To stop an image move the mouse to wake up the symbols and click the double bar symbol in the bottom left hand corner. Click the arrow that replaces it to restart the slide show.
4. To move by hand click on the right of the image (forward) or the left (back). It is also possible to move immediately to an image by clicking its small image in the bottom margin.
5. To bring up information about the painting, click the center of the full screen image: clicking centrally again hides it.
6. To change the speed of the slide show click options (top left corner).

To use of small screen mode

WARNING: Never click on the image in small screen mode (this will take you to a web page of Flickr in a new tab; close the tab to get back.)

1. Move the mouse over the image, waking action symbols at bottom and sides.
2. They have the same functions as on the full screen.
3. In small screen mode neither information about the paintings nor speed adjustment is accessible.
